About Us

 SINCE 1943… 

Robert C Newell (Bill and Bonnie’s father) conducted his first auction in 1943. He was a full-time farmer, and auctioneer. He obtained his real estate license in the 1960’s. He ran his office out of a red storage barn at his home farm and hand painted his own auction signs in the basement of his house. By 1988 he had moved his office into Carrollton, to its present location. Robert was a hard worker, farming, conducting auctions, selling real estate, selling insurance and he also battled cancer several times in his life; all while running his businesses successfully. He taught his 5 children how to work hard from a young age. They all helped in the auction business and on the farm. Robert was active in the church and Chairman of the Carroll County Electric Co-Op for over 35 years. Robert died in 2005. Bill, Bonnie, and Barb have ran the family business ever since ….One that they had been learning from their dad for many, many years…
